Your journey

How it works

From your first photo to your flight home: a clear, step-by-step journey with expert care in Bucharest.

  1. 01

    Share your starting point

    What you do

Send recent photos of your smile and any X-rays you have. Good natural light and clear close-ups help us see the details. If you have previous dental records or treatment notes, include them too.

Tell us what you would like to improve and any concerns you have, such as sensitivity, function or appearance. The more we understand your priorities, the better we can help.

    What happens next

We review your information and confirm we have everything we need. If anything is missing or unclear, our coordinator will get in touch.

A coordinator may message you with a few follow-up questions to understand your goals and medical history so we can plan safely.

  2. 02

    Clinical review

    What you do

Our dentists review your photos and X-rays in detail. They assess your oral health, bite and supporting bone levels, and consider the best treatment options for you.

We may ask a few short questions to understand your medical history, any past dental treatment and what matters most to you.

    What happens next

You receive a clear clinical assessment that explains our findings in plain language.

We outline the most suitable treatment options with the pros and considerations for each, so you can choose with confidence.

  3. 03

    Your written plan and quote

    What you do

Review your personalised treatment plan and your itemised quote at your own pace.

If you have questions or would like any changes, let us know. We are happy to explain everything and adjust the plan if needed.

    What happens next

We refine the plan based on your feedback and confirm the final details.

You receive your written plan and quote with a full breakdown of the treatment, materials and what is included, so you know exactly what to expect.

Exact treatment timing, fees and inclusions are confirmed in your individual written plan. This ensures clarity and avoids surprises.

    What happens next

We schedule your appointments and send a detailed itinerary with your visit schedule and practical tips.

Before you travel

A little preparation makes your experience in Bucharest smooth and stress-free. Once your plan is confirmed, we will share a detailed itinerary with your appointment times and helpful local tips.

Bring any relevant medical information and a list of current medications. If you have recent dental X-rays or records, send them to us in advance if possible. Wear comfortable clothes and plan light activities on your travel day.

We recommend allowing time for rest between appointments. Your comfort and recovery are important. If you have any questions before you travel, just ask. We are here to help.

Money is the last thing you should worry about. You pay at the clinic rather than before you travel, in stages as the work progresses, by card or in cash, in Romanian lei. And if your case needs more than one visit, you will know that from your first evaluation rather than once you are in the chair.

Common questions

Can I get a quote before I travel?

Yes, and you should never travel without one. Send the enquiry form, then share photos or a panoramic X-ray with us on WhatsApp or by email reply, and we return an itemised treatment plan and fixed quote, usually within one working day, plus a free video consultation with the dentist if you want it.

How many trips will I need?

Veneers, crowns and whitening: one trip of 4-8 days. Implants: two shorter trips, three to four months apart, because the implant must fuse with the bone before the final tooth is fitted. All-on-4: fixed temporary teeth in the first trip, final bridge on the second. Some cases need an extra visit, usually where gum treatment or bone grafting has to happen first. If yours is one of them, your written plan says so from the start. You should never discover that you need another trip once you are already in the chair.

Do I need a visa to visit Romania?

No. Romania is in the Schengen area and neither British nor Irish citizens need a visa for a treatment trip. A British passport allows up to 90 days in any 180 day period, far longer than any treatment plan requires, and Irish citizens travel under EU free movement with no limit. Two passport rules do catch people out, so check both before you book a flight: your passport must have been issued within the last 10 years on the day you arrive, and it must have at least 3 months left on the day you fly home. The EU is also phasing in ETIAS, an online travel authorisation similar to the American ESTA, which will apply to British visitors but is not a visa. Rules change, so confirm the current position on the UK government travel advice pages before you travel.

Is Bucharest easy to get to?

Direct flights reach Bucharest (OTP) in around 3 hours from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Dublin, often for less than a UK train ticket. You pick the airline and times that suit you, and once you land the clinic is about 25 minutes away. Taxis and apps like Bolt and Uber are inexpensive, and we send clear directions with your appointment confirmation.

When and how do I pay?

At the clinic, never before you travel. There is no deposit to send, nothing to transfer to hold a date, and we take no card details when you enquire. Payment is staged as the work progresses, so you settle each phase as it is finished rather than paying for the whole plan up front. We accept card or cash at the clinic, in Romanian lei. Prices on this site are shown in pounds so you can compare them against UK quotes, but the invoice is issued in lei, which means the sterling figure depends on the exchange rate on the day you pay.

What is included in the price?

The quote covers the clinical side in full: consultations, X-rays and scans, the treatment itself, materials and every follow-up appointment, with no hidden extras. Flights and accommodation stay in your hands. You book directly, pay no agency markup, and choose the dates, airline and hotel that fit your budget. Once your dates are set we gladly suggest good areas to stay near the clinic.
